Welcome to Jobsoko (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Jobsoko mobile application, website, and related services (“Services”) operated by HUA XIA TECH COMPANY LIMITED under the Jobsoko brand.
By accessing or using Jobsoko, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
Jobsoko is a job marketplace connecting job seekers and employers.
Services and features may vary by country or region. Some functionality may not be available where we do not operate or where restricted by law.
2. Eligibility
To use Jobsoko, you must:
- Be at least 16 years old, or the legal minimum working age in your country or region, whichever is higher
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Comply with all applicable laws in your country
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these requirements.
3. User accounts
When you create an account:
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- You must not share your login credentials
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
We may suspend accounts suspected of misuse or fraud.
4. Use of the platform
Users agree to the following:
Job seekers
- Submit accurate CV and personal information
- Apply only for legitimate opportunities
- Not misuse employer data
Employers
- Post accurate job listings
- Not post fraudulent or misleading jobs
- Respect candidate privacy
Users must respect community standards and avoid harmful, discriminatory, abusive, or illegal conduct on the platform.
5. Job listings & applications
Jobsoko acts as an intermediary platform:
- We do not guarantee job placement
- We do not control employer hiring decisions
- We are not responsible for employer behaviour
- Jobsoko does not employ job seekers and is not a party to any employment, contractor, or compensation relationship between users and employers
Anti-fraud warning: Never pay money for job offers, interviews, visa processing, or recruitment guarantees through unofficial channels. If a listing or message asks for upfront payment, treat it as suspicious and report it to support@jobsoko.co.tz.
Users should verify job authenticity independently where appropriate.
6. User content
Users may upload CVs, profiles, job postings, messages, and similar content. You retain ownership of your content, but grant HUA XIA TECH COMPANY LIMITED / Jobsoko a licence to display, store, and distribute it for job-matching and recruitment purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.
Users are responsible for the content they upload. Jobsoko reserves the right to remove inappropriate or misleading content, restrict visibility, or suspend accounts when content violates these Terms, applicable law, or community standards.
Reporting: To report a job, profile, message, or other content, email support@jobsoko.co.tz with details (link, screenshot, or description). We investigate reports and may remove content or disable accounts at our discretion.
Moderation: We may monitor, review, or remove user content using automated tools and human review, including content that is reported by other users or flagged by our systems.
Intellectual property: If you believe content on Jobsoko infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, contact support@jobsoko.co.tz with enough detail to identify the content and your claim. We may remove or restrict content while we review valid complaints.
7. Prohibited activities
Users must not:
- Post fake job listings or scams
- Misuse or scrape platform data without permission
- Impersonate others
- Upload malicious content
- Violate applicable laws
- Harass or abuse other users
Violation may result in account termination.
8. Payments
Employer subscriptions, promoted listings, or other paid features may be offered on our website or employer portal. Pricing and terms will be shown at purchase. The job seeker mobile app does not process in-app payments for core job search as currently offered.
If we introduce additional paid services, payments may be processed by third-party providers; refunds will be handled as required by law and any stated policy.
9. Data & privacy
Your use of Jobsoko is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Privacy Choices (account deletion and data export).
We aim to handle personal data in line with applicable data protection laws.
10. Account termination & deletion
We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms, remove illegal or harmful content, or terminate accounts where permitted by law.

11. Disclaimers
Jobsoko is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee job availability, employer authenticity, hiring outcomes, or continuous platform uptime.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HUA XIA TECH COMPANY LIMITED and Jobsoko are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We are not responsible for losses arising from job applications, employer actions, or third-party conduct beyond our reasonable control.
13. Third-party services
Jobsoko may integrate third-party services (for example analytics, cloud hosting, or email). We are not responsible for third-party behaviour or policies; their terms may apply to you directly.
14. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes means acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your jurisdiction.
